The Newport Shipyard is a major hub of marine activity in Newport, RI, and the Newport Shipyard 'bird' is their logo. But in Abu Dhabi? Maybe it's true... if you love it set it free.

Ryan Breymaier (left), the only U.S. competitor in the Barcelona World Race, celebrating his first ever Equator crossing with Boris Herrmann (GER) in beach party attire. There is always a question whether the equator motivates the celebration, or long distance shorthanded sailing makes people do silly things.
